PROVINCIAL TENNIS ASSOCIATIONS
Tennis Canada is responsible for the development of tennis across the country. The organization is made up of ten Provincial Associations and one Territorial Association. As the governing body for tennis in their province or territory, the Associations are responsible for the administration and growth of the game within their borders. Involved in numerous developmental and promotional activities, the Provincial Associations run programs including: the operation of a competitive schedule of events for players of all levels, ages and genders; club development programs; high performance player selections for junior nationals and provincial touring teams, maintaining a ranking system for all registered players, coaching and officiating certification; and communication with their members through magazines, newsletters and other promotional tools.
