Get in on the ground level and help us develop tennis in schools, community leagues, recreation centres, gymnasiums and parks around Edmonton. Dates and events are subject to change and Tennis Alberta will post and communicate schedule revisions on our website and through e-mail communication to licensed player card holders.
Tennis Alberta reminds players that tournament officials and organizers enforce the Tennis Canada Code of Conduct for officiated and unofficiated matches. Tennis Alberta will be working with tournament organizers and officials to inform, educate, and enforce the Code of Conduct in 2012. The Code of Conduct is attached below.

SPRING 2012 INSTRUCTOR COURSE
Tennis Alberta will be hosting the next instructor course in the spring of 2012. Although we have confirmed the dates of the course, the locations for each weekend have not yet been determined. Please check back in the New Year for more details.
Weekend #1: April 13-15, 2012
Weekend #2: April 27-29, 2012
The cost of the course is $475 (Includes 2012 TPA membership) and there will be room for 24 participants.

Anyone interested in learning about Tennis Canada’s new badge system
for young players should attend!
About the FUNdamentals Program:
· A resource for instructors, programmers and play leaders to deliver effective lessons suited for children 6 to 12 years of age.
· Learn how to use the “Progressive Tennis” system of modified courts and balls designed for the age and/or skill level of the players.
· Help young players move through six levels of “skill sets”.
· The FUNdamentals program is designed to build a solid foundation for future success, and promote enjoyment and improvement in its participants.
